C8 Does 550 RWHP ???

C8 did about 550 hp and 515 torque at the back wheels, OMG.

I did an online calculator and with a race weight of 3847 (with 200 lb driver) it does 11.1 like in real life. Must be an underrated motor and really efficient drive-line.

I am not sure what to believe, there will be many dyno tests of this car so stay tuned I guess.

there is obviously some wrong. Most likely a test car that did not think it was going to get put on a dyno

Very interesting to see. I was reading up on it yesterday and all I can say is I'm surprised motor trend didn't take the car to another dyno to make sure theirs wasn't off. Maybe it is a test car nobody expected to be strapped on a dyno, maybe it's like the 60's where the engines were grossly underrated? Who knows?

Ya something seems off or this is the first car in history to gain power through the drive line, lol.

I agree, I was surprised they wouldn't have taken it to another dyno to verify before they published that.

Guy I am working with from F &W fence..the owner Fred is waiting on his new vette just sold his c-7, I read that article ….MEH read the filter value its like way way high; I use a guy who has a real honest Mustang dyno and my filter values are usually around 6 not 56...….. A tool is only good as the tool who's using it...LOL nuff said.... does it have the working weather station attached? does it really need a ungoldy number of Filtering at that time given????/ And if its not at 1 to 1 ..ROFL its not right.....
