What is the Can't Walk Away price for a 15 Z/28?

It's been on a local lot for almost two years. It's a little beat up from sitting trough 2 winters. What's the right price that you couldn't walk away from? I have a number in mind but curious what you all think.

I would say 45k would be a no walk away price...

Most dealers with near new cars already got "final pay" from GM on their 2015 inventory, which was less than the 15% rebate GM had until 5/2/16.

This means they (you) get less of a discount on remaining inventory...unless they're tired of paying for the monthly payments flooring the cats.

50k is the obvious # and 52k is the top of the heap!

Anything less than 52K, but doubt they'll sell for less than this.

Listen, I paid $61,375 with a brand new set of Trofeos thrown on top of the deal, and I was psyched...and I am still psyched.
If you really want the Z, than you'll buy the Z
I understand at $78k it was out of reach for most, as it was out of mine (that's why I purchased a used ZL1) but once it was $15k below sticker, I couldn't be stopped.
Anything in the $50k range is a bargain for a limited piece of automotive history!!
Just buy it!!

Scratches in several places. Rust on wheel locks. Rims are dingy looking. It looks like snow has been pushed for of it with a broom more than once. It has a dead battery. Probably needs brake fluid and oil change. Who knows what else.

I'm not sure I really want it. It would be a great track car for sure. I'm also thinking about a 6th Gen SS. I know. I know. The Z/28 and 6th SS are different.

If I could get it for $50k-$52k out the door I'd probably buy it. It's not worth much more than that to me. Not sure that they would bite but I'm going to try.

I'm not sure if I do. I really want a driver but for the right price will consider this Z.

Go in at $50K, tops $54k, with new tires, battery, oil change, paint polished up. These cars are "drivers". Good luck with your decision.

$51k is dealer wholesale as of auction results in May.

For perspective, Mecum Indy this weekend:
'14 CTF with 300 miles sold at $42k
'15 with 80 miles no sale at $54k
Sale has 10% buyers and sellers commission on both sides of the deal. Both cars were red.

Well I didn't know it had all of those issues.
Besides the cracked Trofeos, and the peeling engine covers, my Z was 100% prefect!
It was in need of a 3 step Adams polish and sealant from the contaminants in the paint, but that was actually fun and rewarding for me to do before I stuck her in the garage, and now I only use her for track days and the occasional Sunday sprites drive around town.
Good luck whatever you choose!

Why go through the back and forth stress and contemplation when there are brand-new, unmolested Z28's for mid to high 50's waiting for die-hard fans to take them home.

If 4-5K is going to break the bank, then you probably shouldn't be buying it in the first place - or perhaps your just not committed 100%, which is OK also. I saw mine surrounded around a few new 2015 Z06's and I thought it was a no brainer, and decided to by it within seconds of looking at it...and this is coming from a corvette guy. Besides, you'll forget about the extra few grand once you own it!
