I suspect you don't autocross or do HPDE days on any road course (let alone in the wet), and there are situations there where a slightly softer response than 'linear' really is better. Norm

What would be nice is to be able to go into the dealer and really take advantage of all this tech that is in the car and not void warranty. I understand them not changing things that could result in blown motors or other mechanical failures. But I would like to hit and release my vert top button. Or let my windows / top up with the fob. Make the shifts a little more snappy. Make the throttle linear. Turn off AFM. Stuff that doesn’t result in catastrophic failure but we can’t change because some lawyer says it’s a liability.
“Oil change Please. Oh and by they way could you please turn that annoying 155 mph speed limiter off. Thanks” |

I can't believe people want even more sensitive throttle. If you are cruising along in 1st gear you can barely touch the throttle and you lurch forward, then the opposite happens when you let off...
Who's cruising around in 1st Gear? Also, Norm seems like he would be fun at parties. I'm off to give my 2cents on the S550 Forums |

I'm long past any need to 'win' stoplight drag races and score 'kills' at street challenges from a roll, if that's what you're getting at. Give me a wet road course and an opportunity to balance my car between understeer and oversteer using only the throttle instead.

This is why our Throttle Controller has 9 different settings to choose from.
Depending on how you feel like driving your car / road condition / On Traffic or at the race track... other mods.... |
