If you do order from Amazon double-check the part numbers on the Powerstop website. Amazon used to have the 5th gen pads listed for the 6th gen. Same for windshield wiper sizes, too.

I got mine from Summit. Don't forget to transfer the shim plates on the rear pads.

No. I means that if you do repeated hard braking from high speed 100+mph to low mph they can overheat and damage the pads, or rotors or both. The OEM pads shed material as one of the heat dissipation mechanisms, which is important for race track use. With normal street use, you aren't putting anywhere close to that kind of energy into the brakes, so downgrading the pads to low dust doesn't pose a problem.

Also over 32k on the front of oem, can I expect the same wear on the z26 brakes?
No clue. And I won't get one for at least 10 years or so. I've had mine in for a bit over 7k miles in 30 months and everything looks great.

I'd spend the extra for Summit than to do business with Amazon.

I bought the rotors and pads Power Stop Z26 from AutoAnything.com. I don't think it matters where i got them. I just want to say that when I thought I had a problem with the rotors warping (which turns out I did not - was a bent wheel) powerstop sent me new rotors for $20 shipping. I would say they are a excellent company that stands behind there product. Not to mention - NO MORE DUST!
