She came home with me 11/01/16. 50th Anni, 2SS, A8, NPP, NGM Rock Guards, Footwell Lighting, Black Bow Ties, Street Warrior Rotors and Pads, Ceramic Pro, 3M PPF, Oracle Ghosted Side Markers, Kooks 2" headers w/hi flow cats. GPI Stage 1 Cam installed at 305,000 kms.

First photo in the quoted thread absolutely sells Garnet Red on the 1LE. I like Hyper Blue on my 2SS, but I don't think it pulls off the black accents on 1LE or ZL1 as well as Garnet Red (or even Krypton Green, haha) does.

Medium hues don't accent as well as darker hues. And brighter hues need to go satin or matte before they can really look good with darker contrasts. (obvious personal opinion, but it's also accurate in regards to photoshop do's and do not's)

Oh yeah. My old car got that dirty, and my new one will too. It's the reality of daily driving in the Chicago area.
