Did you get your VIN? If not, have a look on your dealers web site. They may have it showing in their inventory like mine.

Thanks! It is dirty but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The black ZL1 that showed last week looks like they had driven it from Lansing to Oshawa. In the middle of last weeks snowstorm.

Thanks drews and zl1 affairs. Good luck with getting your cars.

Hey Tayley,

Congrats on the new ZLE. What was the production month of your car? Who built your motor?

Thank you. It was started the week before the strike. So Sept. I am picking it up tomorrow or Thursday. I had to wait for it to get tinted. I didn't realize they came with the engine builder info? But I can let you know when I get it.

All those who ordered cars better forget about canadian deliveries for awhile... the canadian gouvernement has no intention of hurrying-up to settle strike before spring 2020.
The gouvernement ses absolutely no urgency in the fact that we're running out of propane and other essential products transported by the railway.
Thats just plain-right stupid

John Assemblyline.

I don't believe the LT4 is assembled by one dude.

Off topic, what are you guy's getting quoted for insurance? Called mine the other day to find out how much it is going to cost me. They flat out told me that anything over 500hp they will not insure anymore.... I asked if that included my CTSV and she said I would have to wait for my renewal to find that out... WTF!

I am with RBC/AVIVA.

My neighbour received a letter from AVIVA saying the same thing. He drives a 2015 AMG e63s. It’s kind of a rocket. Now my neighbour does have a couple hefty driving fines and maybe that’s one of the reasons they will no longer insure him. He had to get a broker.
I’m with TD but honestly can’t recall what I’m paying a year. I think 3300 for my ZLE and my 07 Escalade and an 02 Toyota Camry.

The strike started the week of Sept 16. The VIN sticker on the driver's door post will list the month / year of your build.

On the 2020 there is a small plaque on the top front of the motor listed the name of the person who built the motor.

ZL1 and ZLE are shipped by truck to Ontario dealers.

I have 3 cars on my insurance. When I called about the 1LE they put me on hold because they needed to get special approval due to the fact this thing is over 600hp. I did get insurance, but I have a spotless record (knock on wood).

It sounded like they needed a special waiver to get insurance based on your record. FWIW...
