It might work, but the 1LE doesn't have the lights in the Canard Ducts, so for around $40 for the 1LE Harness, I figured it was a no brainer to get it as well.

The more I look at it the more it looks like with the the ZL1/1LE lower grill you also have to have the Zl1/1LE lower extended splitter. It appears in pictures the regular ZL1 grill goes farther down towards the bottom of the bumper. Can anyone verify if that's correct?

Both grilles and the splitter are different

The grills are different but do you need the 1LE grill for the 1LE split to fit properly? Otherwise why change it unless you prefer the look.

I don’t think it’s necessary to change the grills unless you want to. In my case, I prefer the non-painted look of the 1 LE grills and the functionality because the one LE grills are unpainted and less susceptible to rock chips. I personally don’t think it would look right with unpainted canard ducks, canards, splitter and then black mosaic painted grills, but that’s just me
