Yes. And from what I've seen/read it's a major PIA. Use the search function on here and you should be able to find a link. They put a bunch of clips on the door that make it miserable to take apart.

Pain in the ass to install and unnecessarily expensive for a piece of plastic I don't get what makes these things $200+ aftermarket or GM.

If they came off easier id just vinyl wrap them and call it a day. Way over priced. Thats about the price of a painted spoiler.

2 days after I bought my Camaro that I ordered I installed the Interior Spectrum Lighting Dark Night kit that came as a LPO in a box left in the trunk. Yes it is a pain in the butt to remove the door panels unlike the 5th Gen. But I figured it out and posted info in the DIY about it. I ordered the 1SS because not a leather person and the cloth was not a 2SS option but I wanted the interior lighting like the 2SS came with. So this was my best option. I did have to take it to the dealership to have the HMI and BSM flashed to let it know I now had the lighting so I could control it with the touchscreen radio display. Really for making the mold to produce these and have you been to your local body shop lately to see how much I cost to get something interior wise painted? Just to paint could cost you that unless you have a friend that can do it. So I don't think price is that bad. RPI Designs you Should Make a set that people could install with their OEM lighting also. Just my opinion

If you use code PHIL5 at checkout your price will be $199.49.
This is a genuine GM part that we paint. GM can price their parts strangely at times. Parts that you would think are going to be expensive are not. It also goes the other way around also. Unfortunately these are some of the parts that they charge a lot for. If you get these inserts from GM in the 5 basic colors that they paint them they want over $272.00 for them! So a custom painted insert that exactly matches the color of your car for over $70.00 less than what GM wants for a generic red, white, blue, yellow or black insert sounds like a good deal to me. I don't understand some folks complaining that custom painted pieces for $200 is too expensive. I think your pricing is reasonable.
Question: Do you have custom painted trim for the Spectrum Lighting cars?

We do not have any in our shop right now but there is no reason why we could not paint them.
