Borla ATAK exhaust modes

Can anyone tell me how quiet the Stealth mode is on the Borla ATAK NPP mufflers? I put long tube headers on running to the stock muffler, and I hated the sound. I then installed the Borla 60608 resonators to the stock muffler and it sounds good, but not great. I just don’t want to spend that kind of money for dual mode to find out the stealth mode is as loud as track mode. Thanks guys!

Great video on the different modes with long tubes.

I just installed the Atak NPP and just drove it around on Monday. When the valves are closed it is like stock, when the valves are open with little throttle is sounds great.
The big difference to me is WOT, it sounds Fantastic and is LOUD.

My car is stock and I guess installing long tubes and secondary cat delete would
make it sound insane !

Dude, when I got LT headers and had the secondary cats released the car sounded amazing at high RPM. It was low RPM I didn’t like. I put the borla #60608 resonators on and it gave me an amazing WOT with no low end pops or gurgles. It was just a little too “stock” sounding for me. The video enzia35 posted gave me what I needed, I ordered the ATAK axle back. I’m hyped. My buddy that works at my local muffler shop is gonna be hilariously annoyed but with quarantine, I’m sure they need the business as much as I wanna give it.

Although at an idle it seems like there wasn't much difference in the decibals between touring and sport mode. Unless if he never gave it enough time to settle after the start up. Atleast this helps me feel better about headers. I was worried about it being too loud with the atak.. High flows will probably tone it down even further as well.

I have the ATAK with no headers. There's a noticeable difference between tour and sport.

Stock NPP sounds just as good. Not that much of a difference unless you just want to spend money.

I’ve got the Borla Atak axleback #11925 and Borla midpipes #60610 and they sound great. They do sound better than the stock crushed x pipe and the stock oem npp suitcase.

Yes... it is an expensive item. But the the sound was worth the $3k.
