In-tank fuel pump - Is this right?

We have the tank out and are working to swap the pumps. Do I have the right parts? I saw that in one thread the ZL1 pump was listed as 23377989. It looks like the new pump I have is 23377988).

It appears to me that the new pump isn't correct...would love some guidance. Here are the pictures:

Pretty sure It's the right pump...just the old part number I believe. 988/989 is the ZL1/CTS-v/1LE pump.

But if you look at the two pumps side by side, I dont see how the new one could work since they have completely different connectors. I will call Ted.

Specifically, in the side by side pictures, it looks like there are three different connections for a hose that doesn't exist on the original.

I believe the verts use a different pump. All connections were identical on my zl1 pump.

I can't be sure as it's been awhile but I am almost certain that my original pump had the hose that's missing on yours. I still have my original. I'll take a look when I get home

I just bought a new ZL1 intank off a guy. Here is some pics for reference. Box says 989, pump says 988. Your original part number looks like it's for a convertible.

I just got off the phone with the team over at JRE and apparently the convertible does have a different part. That means that the pump is correct, but to make it work, we need a crossover line kit and a basket extender, or something like that.

Parts are ordered and hopefully will be shipped Monday because the car is on the lift and everything else is happening.

I was wondering the same thing. I just got one, looks like one on the left. My gm service manual showed picture of the one on the right, only showed one pump no statements about different pump on verts. Made me think I had the wrong part. I am pulling mine tomorrow so I shall see.

Why not plug the high pressure fuel crossover and run it that way? I've not done it on a factory controller, but it works well on a non-factory PWM setup.
