Ha! Id say the nut is doing pretty good But there is always something left on the table for sure. Remarkable pace given that Pcar did slow you down thru the esses.
Awesome!

Provoste, feedback please! As you can see I'm on a pretty much identical setup to you (just less camber), still I'm pretty happy with 2 seconds off your time after only about 2hrs of seat time here!

It was a beautiful day and the sessions when my car didn't go into limp mode were awesome. A stock ZLE and Z06 were also having limp mode issues? I'm going to re-bleed my intercooler circuit.

The supercharger and auto makes it look so easy lol. So damn fast, nice lap!

Lightning fast! Which track pads are you using?

Thanks, it's nice being able to keep both hands on the wheel, but I'm still telling it when to shift. And that supercharger is great except for all the limp mode problems I'm having

Thanks! Ferodo DS1.11. Tried them for the first time for this event and I'm in love. Really strong bite and consistent throughout the whole session. Suits my driving style well.

My annual track day this year was at Palmer Motorsports Park in MA. I run with Sports Car Driving Association (SCDA) club out of CT. Not the greatest time - not even close to driven2exceSS - but I'm a once-per-year track guy just out to enjoy the car. My goals are simple: 1) Bring the car back without damage; 2) Have fun; and 3) Improve my driving skills. Mission accomplished!

In my defense, mine was one of the fastest cars in the Intermediate 1 run group. No one passed me in 4 sessions, and I passed every car I came up behind. I was constantly waiting for point-bys, had very few completely clean laps, and had to drive through the pit 3 separate times to get some open track. The RaceChrono app says my optimal lap was 1:56.88 so there is hope for improvement...

Not complaining at all. In fact I loved it. The weather was perfect, a little hot but dry. 1 hour 45 minutes of track time. Had a fantastic time. The car is amazing, even bone stock and factory alignment. Got it up to 130.2 mph on one lap, so that's the fastest I've been in this car, beating the 126.9 mph I did last year at Lime Rock. Woohoo!

Track: Palmer Motorsports Park
Lap Time: 1:58.48
Date: 15-Aug-2019
Lap Timer: RaceChrono
Car: 2018 2SS 1LE (4000 miles)
Mods: None; factory alignment; OEM Goodyears
Mode: Sport - Competitive Mode (StabiliTrak ON; TCS OFF)

Sub two min in 50's is respectable.. The fact you enjoyed yourself, you had good weather, AND you drove the car home in one piece. All that matters Where are you looking forward to for next years annual outing?

Thanks for the kind words. Your times at Palmer are off the charts as far as I'm concerned...

Hoping for Watkins Glen next year. I actually tried to register for the Glen this year, but waited too long and it was sold out weeks in advance. "Settling" for Palmer wasn't a bad alternative, but Watkins Glen is my favorite track for sure, even if it's a 6 hour drive to get there. If not the Glen, I would go to Lime Rock anytime and it's an easy 2 hour drive. Would love to meet up sometime since we hit some of the same tracks.

The Glen is a great track that is opened up nicely so these cars can stretch their legs yet technical enough to keep your focus. Not too late to register for another event, try COMSCC, they currently still have a few openings for the Glen Sept 9-10th. The 9th is a typical HPDE event, 10th is two practice sessions and a TT. Go to https://www.motorsportreg.com. Thank you for your kind words as well!! Keep us informed when you pick next years date/location (don't need to twist my arm far really). At the track I typically try and meet up with fellow Camaro drivers to see if they are forum members, so if we do time it right and end up at the same track we'll meet either way.

Thanks man! I was pretty happy with the 2:12. though it could have been a 2:11 if that GT3 RS would have lifted and let me get back on line before the Bus Stop haha and thanks for an even faster time for me to chase if I can make it back up there this year before I leave for Germany in a few months!

Track: Mt Tremblant Circuit
Place: Mt Tremblant, Quebec, Canada
Time: 1:51.85
Car: 2017 SS 1LE bone stock.

PS Improvement over my previous PB. That's what happens when a 2019 McLaren 600LT acts as a motivator...took tons of work and focus (and a bit of luck) but i did pass him. The guy came over to see what slicks i was running
