It's extremely unlikely that product documentation pages are wrong and the infinitesimal octane increase you claim to be all that's possible with these products would still have eliminated knock for me.
You're confusing "Octane Booster" and "Race Fuel Concentrate". I use Race Gas Race Fuel Concentrate.

It will drive fine but at less power than it should be making which to some isn’t fine

Okay, I see what you mean, indeed I got a bit sloppy with the terminology.

I have a stock set up and drive in the los angeles area. I only see 91 here. So I started adding Lucas OB at each fill....I did this for a year and worked well. Then I saw royal purple OB at same retailer and gave it a try. Reading the bottles on both, concentrations and price, they seemed to be competitive products with the Royal OB selling at a slight premium. Well the Royal really seemed to add feel immediately over lucas and I was quite pleased. However, as the tank ran down I started getting a P0430 code.......but no drop in performance. The code read inefficient operation of cat system on bank 2. I would flash it out, then a few days later it would come back.....so I stopped running any OB and after a few weeks, the code seems to have gone away and is no longer popping.....but I would really like to use the booster. Both the Lucas and Royal read safe for catted and sensored cars. Anyone else run into this? As mentioned my car is totally sock with 10k miles..
