Smile New Guy

Hey folks,
Signed up over here to try and learn more about these cars.
99% of the work i do is Turbo LS trucks for racing or fun daily's to tow with and lately seems i just work behind the most incompetent "builders" but i enjoy building trucks so my people can go fast.

Ive got a couple 5th gens in recently and sorted out all their problems and customers are happy. Until i took them for a ride in some the turbo trucks and they are hooked. So im here now to try and get some insight on figuring out these cars.

I assume you are the same RDF1 from MS as on the HP Tuners forum?

I don't know what the trucks are like in the diff/axels, but that is probably a weak point compared to what you are used to working on. And wheel hop will kill it real quick. Solid subframe bushings will really help, along with other suspension work.

Thanks!

Yea same name on all forums.

Trucks are simple. Just throw a Eaton LSD or trutrac in and low 9s are easy.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
