25k miles in a year! Damn thats a alot of miles... I only had mines for a month now and it only has 3800 miles. You already ran thru your bumper to bumper like thin air..but i assume your a DIY guy so it doesnt really matter.

3800 miles in one month? At that rate, you're on pace to have over 45k miles in a year. Maybe you meant 380???

That aside, what is the longevity of the display/touch screens they are putting in cars?

Years ago if a switch or knob broke, you may fix or live with it pending what it specifically controlled. Now with the newer displays & the way they control every thing you are locked in to getting it fixed properly. Am not bashing or trying to be negative. But the thought is always there when ever in a newer car, regardless the mfg. Cannot imagine it will be an inexpensive thing to have to deal with.

Very fair point, and I would put it at the top of my list of things that could ruin the plan. But I don't think I am wrong about the direction we are heading with CAFE/CO2 standards. I hope that I am. I really do. 10 years ago, we were talking about Peak Oil, and gasoline at $5+ per gallon for good, but the industry responded by figuring out a way to bring too much oil to market, and now prices are depressed.

I guess if we had a crystal ball, we would be posting on the Bugatti forums, eh?

My ZL1 is my 'business lease' 3 year contract, I am really diggin' this car, but I'll probably move on to something else in 3 years.

I always have a truck, I took a couple years off between cars until the ZL1 came out and I had to have one, unless something undeniable is around when my lease is up I may just drive a truck until I 'have' to have something else.

No Im at 4100 miles now. The reason why because I've been daily driving since I got it on Cinco De Mayo. The first road trip I took it on was to Louisville Kentucky and Back to Michigan. I highly doubt I get to 45k this year.. I just been enjoying the new car smell and exhaust lol but I'm back to riding my 11 Impala now and save the Camaro for the weekend.

It must be nice to have a ZL1 as an "business lease". I wouldnt mind driving to work and on some back roads afterwards... but since I financed it for 2 years I think I will keep it till wheels falls off since its my first sports car with a v8.

You live in Michigan bro I know winter is always coming I am in Ontario daily drive that bad boy until we get hammered with snow and then drive the 11 you know we only got so long until the salt and the snow is back man

Haha. you do got a point but since its my first car I've owned with so low miles.. idk how to act..one min..i say i need to put miles on it to enjoy it.. next min.. i dont need to put many miles on it cause I dont want my warranty to expire..then when I start the car.."TO HELL WITH IT OFF WE GO IN THE SS"

Ideal situation would be to go from my 2ss into a ZL1 and afford monthly track outings. I'd love to keep the car for 5-10 years while having a true daily driver. But if funds are well then I would prob switch out of it every 4 years or so.

This 2ss i hav is 14 or so months old and I love every second I get to drive it. But, I will wanna switch the rims up at some point.
