Stopping Brembo Dust on the Rims

Anyone know of a product or procedure out there that will keep the Brembo dust from sticking to my rims. Wash it drive it 10 miles and the rims look just as dirty as before I washed it. Help please.

If you are not tracking your car, then install the PowerStop Z26 pads.

That's what I, and tons of others on here did to reduce (by 75% or more I'd say) the brake dust.

There are things you can put on the wheels to help reduce build up or clean them easier, but pads are the best solution for a street driven car.

This is the only answer.

You will get reduced braking between the two pads but as said with a street car you won't notice that difference. You just can't track that Z26 pad.

The cleaner and slicker you can make your wheels, the less likely dust will stick, and the easier it will be to rinse off.

Here's my thread on wheels off detail with ceramic coating.

My wheels are the same color as brake dust. Win!

Seriously, if this is a concern, ride a bike.

I put time and effort into keeping my car clean. That mean's not having wheels that look dirty after one ride and like complete arse after a few rides. Your fine with it? Super.

I don't need track pads, I removed them myself. Problem solved.

Exactly what I did. I also installed the PowerStop Drilled/Slotted Rotors as well. Night and day on the brake dust. Non-existent now..!

One more for the Z26 pads. Did the swap on the SS at 1000 miles. Night and day. It was nice not wiping that shit up every/every-other night.

I have ZERO issues stopping my SS with the Z26 pads and rotors. Honestly can't tell any difference between the Brembo pads and the Z26 pads for how I drive my car. As others have said... "If" you track your car then fine I get it, but if you don't, putting up with all the brake dust is kind of foolish when you don't have to. For the weekend warrior, spirited driving their Camaro on public roads, you will never outdrive the PowerStop brakes.

for those that have the drilled and slotted rotors question. When going pretty fast and u push the breaks hard do you get a noise almost like a grinding? Wondering if I installed mine correctly. And the power stop for the win here too

I get no noise at all with my PowerStop drilled and slotted rotors with the Z26 pads. I know there was markings for which wheel they went on when I bought & installed them.
