I would think that having a little mirror that you now have to glance at in addition to the regular mirrors would be more disorienting than just properly positioning your mirrors...
When and why would you ever need to see your rear quarter panels? |

However with reverse tilt mirrors and the rear view camera, do you still need your mirrors set this way?

Actually don't know. I try to seek out end spots and spots next to islands to I can park closer to the edges. I'll have to try it some time. As it is I have the BSM anyway, so it doesn't matter much.
