Well as of the 9th I officially became a Missouri resident. Got my self registered and got my tags. The front one is siting in the trunk because I really don't want to drill into my front bumper or mess up the cars lines.

Guess if I get hassled Ill have to figure something out though.

Checking in, St Louis/St Peters area. Loaded 2SS with everything but Mag Ride, Nightfall Grey.

I have yet to see another SS in the St Louis area besides myself. I've only seen a handful of 6th gens as a whole yet.

We're in Wentzville and drive ours quite a bit. We joined Gateway Camaro Club right after we bought ours and were the first 6th gen in the club, but now there are four and counting. You can check out the club at gatewaycamaro.com.

We've seen a handful of 6th gens on the road and at shows, and only about half of them have been SSs.

The club will be going to the drag strip at Gateway tomorrow night (6/15/16) as long as it is not rained out.

I live in St. Peters off of Mid Rivers and drive a NGM 1SS 6 spd but don't daily drive it.

Yes, it was miserable. Ran in the 12.5's & 12.6's several times, but still beat ETs of several of our club's highly modified 5th gens. Not bad for first night on the track, but know it will do much better. Haven't raced for several years due to illness, and have only done so before in my '70 Chevelle, so reaction times sucked as well.

Gateway Camaro Club is planning another track night in the fall. Will post details in case you'd like to join us then.

Sounds good. Iplan on doing some mods this year, but I might put the car back to stock for one last ice cold day in late October or early November just to crack off an 11 second stock pass.

Thinking about joining Gateway also. What do you think of the club? Saw the D.A.R.E Cruise is going on in Wentzville this Friday but unfortunately I am on 2nd Shift this week

Going to take her back to her birthplace in Lansing for the Fifty celebration and Woodward Dream Cruise around the 18th. Should be fun!

She's a real beauty! Would love to have another 6th gen in the club! Mark is right, there are a lot of great people in GCC.
