Unhappy Help installing speed engineering headers

I had bought speed engineering 17/8 headers and have been waiting on the x pipe and just got informed it got pushed back another month, what other options would I have if I want to install the headers; custom x pipe at exhaust shop? Any advice helps thanks.

That's about it, find a good shop and they can fabricate it for you. It may cost more but if you can't wait that's probably your only option. Good luck

Blend or use home made pipes to connect to stock system. That's all it is. Go to a mulfer shop. Might even be cheaper just to put a couple of short pipes in. I would Recommend connecting to the secondary cat so it wont be so loud. If u go stright to npp it will be very loud in open setting

Unfortunately I don’t have the npp, although I did buy a magnaflow muffler so hopefully that will tame it down a bit.

Also not sure if I should put the muffler on before I do all that, or if I should install the muffler in the x pipe or in the back where it was originally?

Sounds like before you do anything go to an exhaust shop, have them put the car on the lift and then after their opinion you can make your decision. Don't over think it.

this is a blessing in disguise. the speed engineering x and mid pipes are junk. have an exhaust shop either cut and weld stainless pieces you buy or they do it their way. any way is better than the se provided x pipe.

How did the headers fit? Any steering rack rubbing issues/spark plug wire burn through? I had slight issues with it rubbing when I had 1 7/8s and now even more with 2". So much to the point that any left turn over 10 makes grinding/rubbing sounds.
