Lloyds Mats Review

OK guys,

With my old mats showing some wear, especially the driver's side one I ordered a set of Lloyds Mats (ULTIMAT) for the front seats. I ordered BLACK with PREMIUM binding in black with black stitching. In addition I got the BIG open lettered SS emblem. Total cost was 175.00 including expedited shipping.

Since Lloyds custom makes these, expedited shipping usually gets them to you in 3-5 days. They DO MAKE and even MORE plush mat called LUXE that is 48 oz per square yard but that to me seem a little overkill so I got the ULTIMAT 32 oz mat.

I looking at the pics below you can see that the Lloyds Mat is quite a bit LARGER than the stock mats and certainly more plush. The driver side Lloyd Mat has the lockdowns for the carpet just like the stock one does.

So basically I feel like they are worth the money but I dont think I would get a set for the rear seats since you cant really see them anyway.

I have Lloyds' Mats in both my cars and I love them. I've had their mats in my cars going back at least 10 years. Great quality.

I agree and the only negative for some people MIGHT be that the floor mat is a much darker black than the factory carpet color.

Their LUXE mats are THE BEST! I have them in 3 cars now, and they'll be in my new ZL1 as soon as I get it!

I have the Ultimats and would buy them again in a heartbeat. Perfect depth and texture, easy to keep clean, and very durable.

Black or slightly darker black is still good. I don't mind either.

I recently bought the berber version and like them. However, my car does not have the driver's side lockdown posts so the holes in the mat do me no good. Does anyone know why I would not have the holes?

Just got my ebony color Lloyds LUXE mats (from AutoAnything) for my new ZL1 with 450 miles. I have them in my Corvette Grand Sport, Mercedes SL450, and Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo also. Fantastic quality.

GM (and Mercedes) should be ashamed for what they put in their cars...

OEM on top of Lloyds

I need to invest in a set of these mats. The factory ones are so pathetic looking, barely cover anything.

Do the luxe seem too thick to keep clean? I feel like the more plush one would hold water/debris more

Had them waiting for the car to arrive. My old c5 had them in it. That’s what turned me on to them. Very nice floor mats. These 6th Gen camaro ones in particular are pretty cheesy

I've had them in my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport for 4 years. 22,000 miles and look like new. I keep our cars cleaned and vacuumed. See my post above for the ones in my ZL1.
