I was really interested in the new M240i until I saw one in person. Somehow, the M2 looks worse.

Got damn it, BMW! You’re on a f…king roll!

Here’s another looker for you. I really don’t understand the design ethos. I guess no one at BMW watched National Lampoons Vacation? Or did they and think, yes, that is the look we want.

Get your shit together already! I guess the only real ones to blame are the people sending them mixed messages by buying these ugly things. Ugh.

End rant

The ONLY BMW I’ve considered buying was an M2. Definitely not happening now…too bad, they make a great engine.

That ass end is grotesque

That is awful looking. I had a 2017 M2 6 speed for a few years before the Camaro. That was a good looking car. This new thing is not. Seems that BMW can't get looks right as of late.

After seeing more pics, it does look better than the leaked photos. Not great bad not terrible like many of their other designs.

it's not that bad, and I do like them bringing back box flares.

That being said "Not that bad" is still pretty low for BMW, most of their cars had a sleekness to them that's been missing. It's there in parts, but not as a cohesive whole.

The new M3 looks great, minus the buck teeth, and the new M2 has some good stuff, but it's overshadowed by these massive square inlets on the bumper.

I miss '00-'07 era German car styling, VW/Audi, BMW, Merc were all on a roll.

To me it still looks ugly and it gained some weight too pushing close to 3800 lbs in base manual form. I hope BMW doesn’t consider touching the M340s because to me that is the one of the few good looking BMWs in the market and i might consider it for a daily in the near future.

Gained some weight? Its over 3800 and heavier than an SS1LE!

The interior is solid, and those bucket seats are awesome. The outside is a pretty big step back from the previous gen though.

Definitely weird looking in the rear but front look's okay imo. The interior is decent, could be lighter especially for its size. I'm sure its a lot of fun to drive though!

It's (at least in appearance) the 6000 SUX. Maybe you can call it the M2 SUX?
