A user on the Colorado Fans forum posted that the $1,500 OnStar add on can be removed for custom orders. Anyone have any confirmation on this?

That would be incredible if true. I'm wondering if that only applies to fleet orders though.

I went back to the 2023 Canyon build and price page and built myself another canyon. I wanted to see if there was an option there to remove the OnStar but I do not see it. Doesn't mean it can't be done (it was there on the 2022 Canyon build page and pretty sure it's on the Sierra page too.... Somewhere near the end)

Anyways... Since it's not found on the 2023 Canyon build page I'm wondering if the price it shows even include the $1,500 OnStar. I assuming so.

So turns out I just miss-understood a comment that wasn't worded real well. OK...so back to wishing GMC would at least give us the option to remove it if we don't want it.

To absolutely no one's surprise, a Canyon AT4X AEV Edition is inbound.

Looks like reviews are dropping on this truck.

I know this truck is not a lot different than the Colorado, but unfortunately, it looks like not a lot of time was put into writing reviews on this truck. Car and driver review is completely phoned in. Motortrend review is a tad better, but still no actual photos from their test drive. Oddly enough, the Jalopnik review is better than those two.

Seen a few owner reviews but I believe actual media road driving reviews are on hold for a few more days. So should start seeing more soon I believe. I really like, no I love it. Only minor issue is Denali package running boards aren’t powered and the weak sound of the motor/exhaust. I’m waiting to see them on dealer lots cause I’m very interested.

Car and Driver, Motortrend, Jalopnik, TFL and others have reviews up.
