Tremec Tr-3160 in V6 remote or direct shift mount?

Just curious and can’t find answer. How is the shifter mounted and working with transmission? Does it directly mount and shift gears or use a rail system? I am not having any issues other than getting into reverse when cold in the morning. Works fine after warm up.

My old Mustang GT used a remote rail system with the tremec-3650 and became a sloppy mess after a few years. The rails would bind up when attempting to shift at high rpm. A Transmission brace and a MGW shifter fixed the issue for the most part.
