Are O2 sensors covered under 5 year powertrain warranty

Just what the title says. I was going to replace it myself but got to wondering if it is covered under warranty and I could save $75. Not sure if I even want the dealer touching the car even if it is covered but would like to know if it is an option.

They should be covered under your 8 year emissions warranty.

Minor components only get 2yr/24k mile coverage, which basically overlaps with manufacturer warranty.
The federal 8 yr/80k mi warranty is for major components only, essentially ECU and catalytic converters, or anything that prevents proper hookup of an OBD scanner.

The manufacturer powertrain warranty is not going to cover an O2 sensor.
