Goodyear Supercar 3s

I’m selling a set of Goodyear Supercar 3s in SS 1LE/ZL1 sizes
2 285 30ZR20 Date Code 4316
2 305 30ZR20 Date Code 4616

Less than 4K miles with no track/strip use

Purchased from Tire Rack in Fall of ‘19 and kept indoors/climate controlled (when not on car during nice weather)

See pictures, can take additional if requested. Would prefer to meet in STL Metro area vs shipping.

$500 obo

Would this be shippable price to 92707?

I am not trying to derail your sale but...

Honestly, with 2016 date codes those are approaching 7 years old and its better to just toss them in the garbage.

These would be dangerous to drive on especially on any even slightly wet roads.

Doesn't matter how they were stored or how few miles. The internal chemistry of the rubber is always happening.

And a word of advise if you purchase tires again from TireRack and they give you tires with date codes 2 or 3 years old. Return them as insist on current date coded tires. Or if you keep them, get them to give you a discount because while they may be new, they already have lost 2 or 3 years of life and should not be sold as full price.

Thank you for the interest but at this point I would still prefer to sell locally.

Understand what you're saying here--I believe that when I bought them it was some type of closeout sale. I went from driving ~18K miles per year and thinking they would get used up quickly to working from home and putting less than 5K/year (split between summer and all-season tires) and didn't get these on the car until 2021.

I agree that these are not a good option for daily driving (and understand the impact when using in wet conditions). I was thinking that there might be interest in using the remaining available tread over the course (no pun intended) of a couple track days, etc.

Say these were bought and tracked on.... exactly what should an end user be concerned with if they are not dry rotted? You saying the compounds break down enough that durability and structure are compromised?
