Michelin pilot sport 4’s defect

Buyer beware!! Purchased a set of Michelin pilots about a year ago. These things might have 5k miles on them since I rarely drive the car. Pulled them off today to change the brakes and realized the inside tread is completely separating from the sidewall. So much that I’m genuinely concerned about a high speed blow out. Any of y’all out there that run these tires, check the insides for the separation, mine is separated so much that I can see the cords.

And before people start blaming me for this, the car is garage kept so no it’s not from cold weather. And I don’t autoX it either. I literally just drive it, there’s no reason why my front tires should look like this. Alignment is also good, I had it aligned right after I put the tires on.

Here are the pictures. It’s around the entire inner portion of the tire. Not just tone spot.

I've been seeing some Michelin QC issues more than often lately.
lets hope they resolve this.
My local DT guy confirmed this also.

I guess so. It’s sad because I really like Michelin tires and think they are far more superior to Bridgestone and Goodyear. But it’s dangerous to ride like these especially with that high of a speed rating
