Your old Camaro came with 5W-30 Dexos1 oil which is significantly cheaper than the 2022 Camaro's 0W-40 Dexos2 oil. That explains the price difference.

That's price gouging for the diff fluid change. It is not hard to DIY and the required 2 quarts of diff fluid costs about $35 delivered to you from Amazon. I bet you could find an independent shop to do the diff fluid change for mich less if you provide the correct fluid.

I was not demanding or expecting it to be cheaper. My post was simply to find out what others are paying and providing my experience while calling other dealers
