Nice build. Should hold up well too. I've got a Katech-modified C6 ZO6 (with a naturally-aspirated LS7) originally done in 2012 that's still going strong.

That’s awesome to hear! I knew they did good work and I wanted to have that peice of mind. Rest assured I don’t have to worry about the engine just maintenance which I can do!

Yeah not having 93 kinda hurts! At least there is E85 just gotta find it since it seems only a few stations carry it. Out East, it plentiful

Finally upgraded my track wheels with some new rubber to test out at Wild Horse in a few weeks. Based on what I could find, I decided to try out the Nankang AR-1s.

I'm also going to remove the rear seat soon. Just waiting for the kit to come in.

* Dont mind the splitter, a semi truck tire got the best of me and I couldn't dodge it. I just got everything fixed recently based on insurance and PPF reapplied which all got covered.

Yeah the Nankang tread pattern is badass -- curious to hear your feedback about them on track! Did you also consider SC3Rs?

My understanding is the Nankang stickers won't be quick -- they need a heat cycle to activate them. Once they have a heat cycle, they heat up quickly, but grip falls off as heat builds.

I run SC3Rs. They take a few laps to get heat into them, but then they grip the whole session (as long as I keep PSI under 37-ish). If pressure gets to 37 or above, I'll come into the pits and bleed off some air. Perhaps somewhat unique to the 3Rs, they don't heat cycle out. They grip until they cord.

I was definitely considering the SC3Rs but they was on backorder at the time I was looking for some tread. That's going to be my next choice in tire. I heard about these and decided to give them a try. First time I ever driven on a tire with these kind of treadwear so this will be interesting. I will comment back and let you know how these perform overall.

I finally got the kit and the rear seat delete kit installed! No more rear seat belts or anything. I’m so glad I went with this option! I tend the like the rear seat more now. It would’ve been nice if this came this way from factory like the GT350R. I don’t think I will install a roll cage in here yet but I am thinking about upgrading tire rods, upper and lower trailing arms and bushings.

The Nankangs are a great tire with really good wear characteristics. We use them in SCCA Spec Mustang on the west coast and they are very predictable.
