Lol yea some back country roads

Some Of the trailers there the Saturday I went were nicer than my garage setup. I just took the car seemed like everyone else had trailer and parts. I had to quit the last session early only had enough gas to get to the closest gas station . It was a blast

I don't think I have enough guts to do that but I am impressed. I hope you do more videos that show the top of the pistons and please let us know how it performs after you get everything buttoned up.

Thanks!

It was nerve racking forsure! Still is too until I get it all back together.

More videos will come as the build progresses so stay tuned!

Been awhile since i've last posted.

But I made it to my first event of the year. Barely. I showed up about 8 hours late. and only got two sessions in before my cam bolt cam loose and my pistons said hi to my valves.

During my mad scramble to get my car running for the first event. I did not properly torque the cam bolt and it backed it self out. Totally my fault and a stupid rookie mistake.

But the car looked great on track. Even if the wrap wasn't finished. and my Aero had yet to arrive.

Unfortunately due to long lead times I had to miss my next two events.

But car is back together now. And I'm working with my tuner to get the car dialed in for a shake down at Gingerman raceway labor day weekend.

Here she is chilling in the work parking lot last weekend.

The chassis mounted swan neck from Ninelives needs a bit of work before it goes back on the car. (more robust mounting solution, It sways side to side horribly)

Little update for the end of the season.

I was able to shake the car down at Gingerman raceway before my final Gridlife event at Heartland motorsports park.

While at Gingerman the car felt great. Splitter was way to large and ended up cutting a few inches off of it afterwards. But during the shake down i was able to shave 3 seconds off from my PB at the beginning of the year. new PB at Gingerman is a 1:36

After the car shook down and everything felt good it was time to get ready for the long haul to heartland motorsports park. I took this time to finish my tow rig build. Which is a 2002 30 foot blue bird school bus!

I averaged around 10 MPG too and from the track while towing the car. Only thing is the speed limiter on it is set to 62mph so it took forever! I plan on trying to get a programmer on it to raise the RPM and get a few more MPH out of her.
