Great stuff! Is there an option to send parts to you for porting and then have them sent back, instead of paying a core charge?

Absolutely. That is the preferred method. The other way is a concession for convenience.

I will modify the website to give the option for this scenario.

Thanks!
Tim

Thanks for the kind words. I am glad you are enjoying your car.

The website has been update to allow for customer supplied cores.

Thanks,

This package is now available for purchase on our website. We should have the ability to purchase them separately in a week or so. Due to the time required to port these units there may be a lead time in receiving the product. We will try our best to ensure we turn them around as quickly as possible. You must purchase the item to ensure your spot in the queue (a refundable core charge will be required).

Dyno results for this package with E85 are planned. Stay tuned!

Thank you,
Tim

Do u know if the car sees any gains from the porting without a tune?

I wouldn't think that you would experience any less gains than I did. I did tune mine before the swap to eliminate possible differences with the stock tune for apples to apples testing. I have this combo on a couple guys cars on here and other sites that are running stock tunes with no issues. Both have reported "feeling" gains. One car is flying at the track so I have no reason to doubt any of it.

If I do a core swap are there distinguishing numbers are the parts that will let the dealer know I switched?

No, not yet. We will be testing one on TSlopers car soon and possibly a M6 car. AdvanSuper, paging AdvanSuper.

I will say that a C7 I did is still the fastest bolt on pump gas Vette as far as I know. It put down 474/445rw IIRC. We went 11.1@125. Headers, AFE CAI, my ported int/TB my tune. There was still a lot to do with the trans as well. It would have gone 10.80's all lined out in good weather.

No, the intake is the intake and the TB is the TB. They are all the same. There is just a generic part number for them. They are serialized but no one is tracking that.

Hey Tim,

I have a brand new untouched stock Intake Manifold, can I send that your way to be worked on?

Also any thoughts on porting the stock tri-Y manifolds? I noticed up to .4" of slag overlap, could grinding that down unlock more power?

Send it over. I am a couple weeks out right now.

I would have to look at the Try-Y system to see what I could do in there. I don't think there would be much to anything to gain unless you could get all the way through them to actually increase overall runner or outlet diameter. If there are some real restrictions in there that could be removed then there could me some small gains made.

Sledge,

I updated the website to add just the intake manifold. Select the "Customer Pre-supplied Core $0.00" option.

I will PM you with where to send the intake manifold.

Thank you!
Tim

We will work on a marking approach that will go unnoticed by anyone other than us. If there is a future dispute on something we need to make sure the product returned is in fact ours.

Thank you,
Tim
