Climate Off message

Anyone else getting a Climate Off message on the infotainment screen when trying to make climate adjustments (temperature change, turn off AC, etc)? This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does I need to shut off the car for a few minutes and when I restart it typically works. Even though this message is displayed, the climate control still works (I can turn the system off and on, adjust temperature, etc). I suspect this may be a software issue, but was curious if anyone else was experiencing it.

Never had that issue on mine. Looks like an error on the new MyLink. I'd call the dealer.

I’ve added it to my growing list of minor annoyances to report at my first service appointment. Was just curious if I was alone in experiencing this. Thanks for the feedback.

I have seen the same thing on my 2019 SS. Mine also clears itself, usually ok the next time I drive it. Curious if anyone has ever had it resolved by the dealer.

Happens to mine on my 2019 SS 1LE, but what I noticed, it only happens when someone is in the passenger seat.

Looking forward to see if there are any fixes to this.

It appears to be a 2019 Mylink 3 issue, I've gotten it too and it's similar to how setting would disappear in the other mylink systems. It has to do with remote starting and unlocking sequence. Not really a big deal since everything still works. This has been my experience so far.

Just happened to me on my way to work, did not use remote start, used the door button to unlock.

Turned off the engine, open driver door to simulate exit for stuff tu turn off, immediately turn on car again and still climate off on screen.

Climate ctrl still works with physical button.
Ppl says that vehicle needs to be off for a couple of min in order to reset.

Tried force stoping "climate" under running applications but did not worked.

Definitely a smsll communication glitch between hvac module and mylink 3

I bought a 2019 1ss about a month ago and have had the “climate off” message appear on the infotainment screen a few times already. A/C still works using the manual controls. Is there a fix for the screen message? Anyone talk to their dealers about a solution?

Happened yesterday afternoon 1st time. Having a '19 1SS/1LE 6spd-manual so remote start use isn't the cause. But after dinner (car off for a little over an hour) and on drive home it was working normal. I'm not overly concerned at the moment. If it keeps happening then I'll mention it when I bring it in for 1st service appt.

Took my car to my dealer to fix the issue. Per my invoice/receipt:

“Tech found related service bulletin 19-NA-189. Reprogram K56 serial gateway module and A11 radio”

Worked fine on my drive home. Hopefully this is a permanent fix.

It's happening more often for me now...I'm gonna go to dealership and have them look this up and hopefully does the trick.

Brought it in today and they reprogrammed per the tsb 19-NA-189. Hoping that's it for this issue.
