So driving around today gave me a chance to get a little more aggressive. My seat of the pants conclusion is that there really isn’t much difference from the Cold Air Inductions system I had before. Maybe a tad smoother and the engine seems a little more “happy” I guess. The one thing I did notice is that it sounds great! The sound of the air being sucked through the carbon fiber tube is pretty cool! I’ll be logging some more mileage over the weekend so I’ll see if the computer adjusts to all the new found airflow.

Please update if the ECU adaptation makes a difference.

DYNO RESULTS......

So I put my 2018 Camaro SS 1LE on the rollers at a local shop, did a baseline run with the HOOD OPEN and my car laid down 410rwhp. Removed the factory intake and put on my AFE Track Series Intake and LEFT THE HOOD OPEN for the next pull, my car yielded 423rwhp with a gain of 13hp. The factory tune with factory intake was showing that my car was running slightly rich. So when I added my new intake it leaned it out a little for an almost perfect AFR. #winning

Long story short, I am satisfied. Keep in mind that except for the intake my car is BONE STOCK with not even a thousand miles on the Odometer. I will post dyno videos as soon as I can....

like to see a follow on just for grins dyno with the AFE and then put the stock intake back on.

I have videos of both, Stock intake dyno and after install dyno. Car maintained the same temperature with maybe a fifteen minute cool down just to install new intake.

nice im still waiting on my mine last time i asked they said they were having issues with carbon fiber production but hopefully itll be soon!

Besides the incredible looks of this unit my favorite thing is the sucking sound it makes! With the windows down between 2K and 4K it sounds like a supercharger when you get on it!
