The whole thing sounded extremely snobby and dismissive of everything else, which is understandable...just kind of unsightly.

Btw MT...you can get more power in the Challenger for roughly the same price that you were fawning over the Camaro for.

But all in all...a good win and a good feather in the cap for Team Camaro.
And on top of that, Dodge will throw in a few hundred extra pounds for free!

I wasn't talking about physical size...?

In terms of taxable size the LT1 carries a much larger burden than the Coyote 5.0

They tax displacement, not overall external engine dimensions.

6.2L is bigger than 5.0L

MT sure loves Chevy. GM cars won most of their awards last year too.

To be fair to the truck selection, there wasn't much competition.

Based on all we have studied and seen. It's a given that the camaro would win this. No other car manufacturer has Stepped up their game to deliver what Chevy did.

Seriously find a car or manufacturer that delivered what Chevy did this year with the camaro. And for that matter last year with the vette!

Chevy has truly upped the ante. Game on! Well deserved Chevy! Bravo!

Being in the market for a new 6 cylinder sports coupe there wasn't another car that looked more appealing. Sorry Ford, Nissan, Mercedes, and BMW.

P.s. Honda, Mazda, and Toyota..... You guys aren't even worth mentioning. Give us RWD performance cars damnit. Supra, RX7, or S2000 anyone?

Can't wait to read all of the posts from the Ford guys saying that Motor Trend is Chevy Trend...The cars tested must have been ringers...How much did GM have to bribe the people writing this review, etc., etc., etc...

Here’s one where the new Camaro might actually transcend the criteria. Is this the best production ponycar the world has ever seen? Without hesitation, yes. What was interesting to me is that we judge types weren’t talking about the Camaro in relation to the Mustang GT that we brought along as a benchmark. We were talking about future Camaro comparison tests against BMWs, Audis, and AMGs. I’d even throw Porsche into that mix. MacKenzie sums up our feelings: “A revelation. Absolutely world-class sports car performance and dynamics from an American icon. The new Camaro is one of the finest driver’s cars in the world. And that’s before you even talk about the price.” It’s also absolutely bitchin’, and it’s the 2016 Motor Trend Car of the Year.
That says a lot right there.
