Tires for 19" wheels, AutoX with a little Track.

I am looking for advice on what tires to go with on a 19" wheel (SS 1LE widths and offsets) for a regular AutoX'er with a little track time thrown in as well(doing my first TNiA next month).
My ideal is to find a set of 305 RS4s but those appear to be back ordered until next spring.

Otherwise do you guys have any recommendations? RE-71r's are right up my alley for autoX but I've heard they'll only last a track day or two. I'm leaning towards sticking with GY SC3s but am not exactly sure if I should go for a 285-305/35 or 295-305/30. The shorter tires appeal a little more, just for a bit more "mechanical power" as opposed to the 35 sidewalls which appear to be a little taller than the stock 285-305/30R20 tires.

Anything I'm missing? Should I even consider a set of Kumhos or Pirellis? Just go with the RE-71rs?

I'm open to suggestions/recommendations. Thanks!

If you can't get your hands on RS4s I'd say go with the RE71s for AutoX and use the stock wheels/tires for track! Lots of guys (including myself) run 305/30/19 RE71s on 19x10/11" wheels.

I was hoping to sell of the stock wheels after I burn through the rubber. Off set the cost of the 19s. appease the wife...lol.

Have you tracked the RE71s? or just autoX?

I did a couple days at VIR on them last year but it was rough on them, and you feel them start to fall of when they get hot and greasy towards the end of a session, don't have that problem with the Goodyears or RS4s. If you want to be competitive in Autocross you need the RE71s hands down. If you want a really good track set up but not top tier for Autocross it's the RS4s (I have both!) or just stick with the Goodyears.

The BFG Rival S 1.5 in 305-30-19 are good for autocross too. A couple of mustang guys have noticed a drop of 0.2 to 0.6 secs running the BFG over the RE71s. They are running in CAM-C class if that makes a difference. It is also the hot time of year in SoCal. I have no experience with the RE71s, but the BFGs grip well.
