Borla 60626 install with factory exhaust.
For those of you that have installed the Borla 60626 onto your factory ZL1 exhaust, do you just butt the borla 3" pipe up to the factory 3in pipe and use a 3" sleeve style exhaust clamp like this correct? Or will the factory exhaust slide into the borla pipe? Just wanting to get everything together before I start cutting.

factory piping isn't 3"...I used 2 3/4" band clamps for my Borla 60606.

Yeah, 2.75" for ZL1 or SS. You cut the pipe as indicated, and the Borla slides over cut pipe, and tightened with included clamps. To go back to stock, buy the sleeve connector as pictured above, so the cut pieces can go back together edge to edge.
