New RPI front splitter for my '16 SS

Picked up an RPI front splitter for the Super Sport during their black friday sale. Just a little over $250. I know that with aftermarket fiberglass parts, fit and finish can sometimes be an issue. I wasn't expecting perfect, but was certainly hoping for really good. I'm happy to report is was all but perfect!!! The two real important parts were paint/finish quality and the way it fit to the existing lower bumper/valence. Satin paint was perfect. Fit was perfect. Fit like a glove. I was impressed. I had a hand holding it in place so I did not use the tape. Without any bending or "encouragement", (LOL) it slid right into place and fit perfectly. Very happy. Very well done! Of the 12 screws, 11 fit perfectly. Strangely, 1 was off by about .25". No way to make it fit. Didn't take much to drill a new hole, but figured I'd be completely honest in my report.

Very pleased! 5 Stars.

Just be warned.... I had this same piece on my car for a while and the paint quality proved to be absolute shit. After one day at the track it was covered in chips, where the stock splitter's paint was still mostly perfect after 4-5 track days. I'm pretty sure they just didn't put any clear coat over the black and that makes it super easy to chip.

paint on mine didnt last very well either. I repainted it a couple of times, then finally vinyl wrapped it.

I've considered that it may not last. Hope it does, but I'm mentally prepared for it if it doesn't. I'm a huge fan of SEM trim black, and am in the Sign (vinyl) business for a living, so a wrap is also a free, and easy solution.

We'll see how she does!
