19 ZL1 going down to 19s
I just purchased a set of BC Forged 19s for my ZL1 and I'm trying to get an idea of what tire size I should go with. I really don't know much about tire sizes besides the little information I see here and there.
19x10 Et. 23 front 19x11.5 Et. 49 rear Lighter weight rims and running 325s in the rear is my goal. Anyone on here do something similar? Also, I don't know if the tire-to-fender gap is going to get bigger so I was considering putting some BMR lowering springs on it if the gap is too big. That's just an idea though. Lastly, did you guys do anything to correct the speedometer? I'm assuming going down a size will mess with the speed readout and what not. Is there even a way to correct that? I'm very much mechanically inclined but I don't know shit about rims and tires. Thanks for your help and input guys. |

I run 285 all around in summer, 275 in winter.
Next go around, I'll probably up rears to 305.

The ZLE has 19s, 305 front, 325 rear. 19×10 front, 19×12 rear. Don't remember offset.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I was looking at the Michelin PS4S because I hear most people on here talk about how good of a tire it is. Those tires are not cheap though. I love the performance of the stock tires, I just want something that I don't feel like I'm going to die when I drive in the rain. I'm open to other tire choices though.

Check out a 345/30/19. It’ll be crazy wide but about the same height as stock

325/30R19 will fit on the 19x11's in the rear and isnt too much shorter than stock.
I have the APEX 19x10 ET20 and 19x11 ET43's on 275/35R19 Pilot Sport 4S fronts and 295/35R19 MO1 Pilot Sport 4S Rears. Ride height is down 0.1" evenly front to back. Runs great, nice increase in pep. 35lbs or so lighter total. |

I believe that was a “problem” with the hellcats when they came out. All that power on 285s. |

https://www.wheel-size.com/size/chevrolet/camaro/2018/
this should have all the info you need as far as wheel size, tire size, etc. it also has a handy dandy interface where you can put in what you have, and what you want to go to, and it'll tell you the differences in all sort of metrics. It's been super helpful to me in the past, not only on my camaros, but other cars as well (just change the make and model obviously) |
