How much of an improvement over the stock OEM ZL1 caliber pistons and seals is you rebuild kit in terms of dealing with heat?

If you continue to use stock pads (which run pretty cold in comparison to some higher torque ones) you will likely not have to rebuild anything anytime soon.
Also, if your pistons arent sticking there is no point of rebuilding anything yet. Rebuild kits dont guarantee that you will not have to rebuild again no matter how good the kit. Spending money before you see issues is a complete waste imo. Brakes are consumables including calipers. Eventually any caliper will need a rebuild, or get replaced. But much depends on type of pads.
Hope this helps. Cheers!

The 2016+ SS and 2017+ SS 1LE rear calipers should be exactly the same spec. Your listing says otherwise...

Look at a set of Z06 pistons for the 6 piston calipers a lot cheaper than RB an are essentially the same.

UPDATE:: This is the latest on the "High Temp" rebuild pieces and parts... Any further questions or concerns I would recommend reaching out to them direct, their email has worked well for me. Not sure how often they troll the forum

"Hello Scott,
Pistons are in stock.
Dust boot required some re-work on tooling for fitment tolerance resulting from a fitment test (about 2 weeks ago). New sample shall be ready in about 2 more weeks when I will let you know as soon as the test is complete and available so we can release the kit together.

Thank you for your patience & Happy New Years.

Warren"
