Question Apex Wheel - VS-5RS

Has anyone purchased the Apex wheels, VS-5RS in 20"?

I'd like to see how they fit in the wheel well. They're 1/2 in wider than SS 1LE OEM.

Anyone?

You're missing the offsets too. Apex has fitment guides on their site, super helpful. They also come in Camaro fitments, just either need camber plates or wider fenders or whatever.

I have camber plates, but no thanks on wider fenders.

The 1LE may have the wider fenders already.

I'd be interested in these wheels also if I could see the fitment. I'm not sure about using the stock tire sizes but there don't seem to be many option to cover the additional wheel width.

Wheel Specs:
Front - 20x10.5" ET15

Rear:
20x11.5" ET42

Call Apex Wheels, I did. They have all the answers for your fitment questions. Absolutely love those VS-5RS wheels. Check their website, lots of information there, fitment guide, tire recommendations, etc... this one is their Anthracite color.

Will 20x10.5" ET15 fit on the front of an SS? Love the look of these wheels but the price is getting up there. ~$1000/ea.

Answered my only question:

Wheels
  • Front: 20x10.5" ET15 // Rear: 20x11.5” ET42
    • Available in: VS-5RS in Q3 2022
    • Recommend at least -1.5* camber up front
    • We suggest relocating the wiring harness inside the driver rear fender well on cars equipped with Magnetic Ride Control (MRC)

My issue is I would like to see pictures of these wheels on an SS. They have pictures of them on a ZL1 I believe. The wheels should stick out a bit further from the fender than the stock SS 1Le wheels. I would like to see how much. I don't need more rock chips etc.

The fronts will definitely stick out more, how much? 12.7mm wider, 5mm less offset. So 12.7mm/2 = 6.35mm +5mm = 11.35mm.

Great math, thank you.

I can't do offsets.
