Check the back firewall for an opening under the black felt in an almost straight line back from the spark plugs (driver's side). I tried to add a couple pics to help locate it, but my desktop has updated and now I can't do shite! If you've got one and Chevy has simply plugged your intake opening (as in FarmerFran's car), I'm betting it is cheaper to plug and just cover the hole than doing away with it.

I'll try again with the pics- sorry.

BTW- this is not just a hose to carry sound into the cabin. It's got diaphragms and other components to protect you from fumes/ carbon monoxide, etc...
Sorry, I know you meant full throttle and autocorrect messed it up, yet I couldn't help but imagine a "full throat" acceleration

When I want even more volume than what NPP provides with the valves open, by the way, I drop down the rear seat. That's my cheap "loud exhaust fix" for five minutes, then I realize it's been enough

Very good Arpad.. but actually I meant full throat(ed), but no offense taken- LOL!
Don't jump to conclusions, the abbreviation WFO actually stands for "wick full open" but very few folks would assume that. Any idea where that reference comes from ? No Googling allowed ! Have a good one-

Heh, you got me here real good, I have no clue... reminds me a bit of what life was like before the search engine. Please enlighten this noob, swear I didn't google it, nor do I intend to

A honest man is hard to find!

WFO comes from way back in the early days of auto racing and refers to a driver who's car is " wick full open". A more modern example would be "pedal to the medal"!

They were comparing it to the oil lamps used for lighting- if you cranked the wick as high as she'd go ( and as bright as it could get ) in reference to your car, then you were pushing it as fast as it could go!

These days most folks would assume you were saying the throttle is "wide effing open".

BTW, I know dropping the back seat will increase the exhaust sound, but it is nothing compared to added sound of the tube. I kid you not- the change is significant and sounds good too.

Drop me a PM if you want to try it. If you cover shipping, I'll let you have it for free. Make sure you've got an opening in the firewall and it will be a 5 minute job.

Aha, I see I'm actually old enough to smile at the wick reference, I did play with a few oil lamps at home (handed down from my grandma) back in the day.

I'll pass on the sound tube, thanks. I still have my deleted original as all 2018s came with it, but I'm actually happy with the raw engine sound, even the Maggie 2300 doesn't whine much at the low psi I'm running, and that's how I like it. Feels and sounds like an imaginary 9-liter NA engine, if that makes sense.

Sound Tune Foam

I have a 2019 SS 1LE 6M. I took the price of foam out that’s inside of the Sound Tube. i NEVER post any reviews, but i HAD to. My friend has a 6th gen Automatic Camaro and did a Sound tube foam delete. it was annoying with the 4cyl mode. Then i did it to test the manual version and it sounds SO good. There’s a derp growl in the cockpit ONLY when you’re WOT. cruising speeds aren’t affected until you get on it. It’s amazing what 1-2 inches of foam does. Manual owners that have sound tubes.. TAKE THE FOAM OUT.

https://youtu.be/ifvxEWe5NfE

this video applies to all 6th gen Camaro’s with a sound tube installed

Such sweet irony, I removed the sound tube from my 17 ss. Upgraded to zl1 which doesn't come with one, and here I am about to install an aftermarket sound tube, lmao!
