Items After Battery Replacement

Battery is done for, so have a new one arriving today or tomorrow. Old battery has been out of the car for 2 days (what a PITA to remove).

Based on others' experiences, was just wondering what things I may need to reset/relearn/calibrate after having the car with no battery for several days.

It's a convertible if that affects anything.

Thanks!

I disconnected my battery for an hour, and only lost my seat memory settings. Not sure why, because others haven't experienced that. But I don't have any experience with disconnecting it for a couple of days.

Needing to re-index the windows is a fairly common thing to do after battery disconnect...

Oh yeah, I think I had to do that too. There's a message that comes up on the instrument panel that tells you what to do, IIRC.

Nice. I was in Janesville the whole time, been here since 1996. I had a 1994 Camaro Z28 during the years you were here.

Thanks guys, just put in the new one and fired it up. Oddly, no issues with the windows, seat memory presets, or radio presets, but the only thing I found was the compass needs recalibrated which just means driving it and the out side temp on the radio showed "--" which I am assuming just means I need to drive it as well.

I replaced my battery about a month ago, it took an hour (access is not ideal), but I didn't have to reset or reconfigure anything afterwards. As with discgolf01's car, the compass recalibrated itself on its own, and the temperature "arrived" after a minute or so of driving, that's it.
