Borla S-type installed

Thanks to dynosteve at DSP Performance! My son’s Christmas cat-back was a huge hit. Before and after videos

Love my s-type. Congrats. Just FYI, if you ever go headers, it's really only louder on start up and WOT. Normal driving it sounds the same. A really nice exhaust with no drone.

Thanks, great to know. I was wondering about that, I figured you could always go with the resonators if the headers made it too loud. I can’t believe how tame it sounds with the valves closed, just slightly louder than stock. At WOT it will be heard from blocks away and sounds great inside the car. The tone is great under all conditions.

With 1 7/8' Kooks longtubes w/ hi flow cats and a BTR stage 2 cam, it sounds incredible. My favorite exhaust of all time.

Do you have a pic of how the tips look? I would love to do this on mine, but every one that I see with the Borla the tips stick out WAY TOO FAR which in my opinion looks bad! Could you take a pic and post?

it is just extremely quiet. I have the ATAK cat back setup on my car but for the first few seconds of this video you can hear my car running on low cylinder. you can tell because when i lay into it, it is night and day different. also to keep in mind, the mic is taped near my rear plate, if you want to understand how quiet it can be. i think pretty much all the cars, without headers, will sound about this quiet. sorry about the extra little noise, i have another mic under the hood of the car.

Keep in mind no headers or cams but I would assume it would not be that much louder at maintained speed.
