Question GM Authority article on why the camaro convertible to may not cycle completely

The GM authority web posted an article today on the convertible and it’s occasional cycle issues.

https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/10...le-completely/

What is the tension bow they are referring too the statement? :
“……but the folding cycle will stop, leaving the tension bow (fifth bow) pointing in the air at a 45-degree angle….. “

I think what they’re referring to is the last segmented section of the top, closest to the trunk. That’s the section that pulls / latches down at the very end of the up cycle, applying tension.

Now that's much more informative, thank you

This trend started well before 2022, and as long as free money is being handed out for views/clicks/subscriptions, it will only get (a lot) worse.

I was just thinking that - every time a service bulletin comes out, it is a story.
