We need some details. What track is that. Where on track is that? What was your speed? Oh yeah, GREAT SHOT!

Thanks guys. This was at Grattan raceway in MI. Between turns 4 and 5 there is a “jump”. Appropriately named. Top or 3rd, so just a bit over 100mph.

A number of people with nice cameras approached me and asked for my email since they got shots of me airborne. Waiting to get photos!

And the landing was surprisingly soft. The 1LE suspension is unreal.

You ever seen this video? Also that is a crazy thing to have on a racetrack. If our relatively heavy cars are jumping that high then lighter cars must be flying.

Oh snap, that SUCS. That was a big jump too.

P.S. Lighter cars don't typically have enough power to make it to to jumping speeds. Most of the S2000s, Miatas, BRZs can't reach the speed threshold in time.

Ran into a pretty sweet, heavily modified EVO. The driver was new to the track, but the car made 450HP to all 4 wheels, and threw flames. Visible in a few places in this vid. Also the answer may always be Miata, but in this case Miata had no chance.
