LCA Shields And Toe Arm Question

i was hearing a audible rattle on the rear end when doing over bumps
decided to check it out today finally ..this is what i found in the dust shields for the lower control arms

i also noticed the toe arms move a heck of alot - can rock them left the right until they rub the lca's ..anyone have this much play in the arms ?

On each end of the rear toe links there is a spherical bearing with a rubber boot. So yes, there will be a noticeable rocking motion as there is no resistance in the bearings to that kind of input.
