Today I stopped at a local grocery chain and bought just a handful of items, including ice cream. Coming back to my car I notice a red Camaro SS parked across the aisle from mine. Way out in the hinterlands, of course. As I approached my car I used the remote to put the top down. Easier to put the groceries in. The cart retrieval kids went gaga over that. The security guy patrolling the lot pulled up next to me and compliments the car and starts telling me about every person he’s ever known who drove a Camaro. In the midst of all this, a wild cherry SS with black stripes pulls up and parks next to the red SS. He yells over “Nice!!” I yell “Back at ya”. The security guard is still talking. I finally extract myself and drive home. Melted ice cream and all.

Overwhelmingly positive. I've added a few personal touches. My wife and I drove to Miami last October for our anniversary and I was actually shocked by how many compliments I got there. I figured with it being Miami they probably see all types of exotic super cars ect, so needless to say it felt pretty good.

Ever since my build this year including a complete exhaust change I have gotten many compliments on how it sounds. I quess that's some of the payoff for the amount of $$ I spent.

My friend, who wanted Camaro Vert in past, asked me once why I took my family in Charger instead of Camaro... "Because Camaro is much smaller in the back? - Ohhhhhh"

Everytime I take it somewhere I get compliments. The wife and I stopped this AM at the bakery for a donut and coffee. Couple was sitting outside enjoying their donut when we pulled up. Complimented the car, but like always... expressed how much they loved the color. HBM... Can't go wrong..!

I'm surprised how much positive attention my 1LE gets. People seem to like it. Honestly it gets more attention than my past cars including a C6, C7, CTS-V and RS3 which really surprised me!

I was at the park windows down, and a guy approached my car with his 4 year-old daughter. He asked if I could give it a rev for his daughter, and of course I was glad to do it. I gave it some gas, and she loved it, clapping and smiling. I think we have a future Camaro owner...

Just the other day, I had someone honk their horn at me while I was in traffic--they were pacing next to me. I rolled my window down just for them to tell me that my car looks stupid with that big wing on it and I shouldn't have put it on there.

I have a ZL1 1LE.
