Video: Red Hot Camaro sighting

Ok here's a small clip I took this morning on my way to work on 696. I was with these two for a good 15 miles and I gotta say they look phenomenal. The taillights are just stunning, really impressive in person. It was very difficult to get good quality shots while maintaining speed and staying in my lines ha but I managed to get something.

The red definitely looked different from every Garnet pic I've seen so perhaps it's the Red Hot. I saw one again after work but he was on the other side of the freeway so I couldn't get a pic.

You could be right it does look like a brighter red than the Garnet. If you freeze the video at that point you can get a good look at the color reflecting off the headlights.

Yeah I thought the same thing with the glare from the RS headlights behind the red, definitely more red than the candy apple of Garnet. Glad to help, I feel bad for not having more to post seeing as I live in GM land but I'm always on the lookout.

There is definitely one out there, saw one on I69 between Davison and Flint a few weeks back going east.

Kinda surprising more pics/vids haven't been shot. I've seen almost all colors now but today was the first day I've actually been able to get anything decent. Every time I see them they're on the other side of the freeway in crawling traffic. Aren't there any Camaro6 forum members stuck near them haha.

Thanks a bunch for the video. I'm 99% sure that that's Red Hot, it's way brighter than Garnet Red, and it looks fantastic!

Since the SS was the lead car I was able to get in front of it for a while. The view from the front is very bright and looked great but not as readily identifiable as say a C7 or even Mustang. The lights kind of all blended together but not in a bad way. Just more generic than I expected. I've seen these lights at dusk and full sun as well (coming at me opposite side of freeway) and they look the best on an overcast day. Hope that helps. I tried snapping a pic of my mirrors to show the lights but they were a blurry mess so not worth posting.

I'm still kinda shocked how much I liked the taillights. Made the whole rear end look far more advanced over the 5th gen.
