It makes the installation much cleaner not having the fuel line run over the manifold. It is not required but it cleans the install up. Please feel free to call or email us anytime with questions.

How would one of these msd intakes work on a procharged setup? Running a d1 with stage 2 intercooler. Would it help, hirt, or likely not change anything?

We haven't tested this manifold with a ProCharger but I would imagine you'd see a 20-30 WHP increase. The stock LT1 manifold isn't awesome and we've seen nice gains with the MSD in NA trim. We'll have to put a test together to see what we really get on a ProCharger set up.
