Oil extractor that reaches the oil

HELP! I've got the LS 1LE, and the high performance manual says to overfill by one quart before a track event, and then extract the extra quart afterwards. I bought an extractor but its smallest tube couldn't reach the oil. Do any of you have an extractor that will reach the oil?

Is draining from the bottom with drain valve like Glen's setup viable for you?

I'll consider it, but it's a lot less convenient since I'm going to keep my underbody panels in place, and it would be harder to meter out one quart by that method.

Could you DIY an access door?

Push come to shove, drain out more than a quart into a clean container and put back enough to top off at street sump depth. You'd probably want to do this anyway if you use more than a fluid ounce or so per session.

I also bought an oil extractor for the same purpose after I bought my car and discovered this problem. So far I've been lifting the car and draining ~ about a quart+ every time. It's a bit of a PITA but even if I were to find a small enough tube to get down into the pan via the dipstick tube, I believe it would be a ridiculously slow process of drawing 1 qt of oil out.

I need to buy one of those drain valves. Somehow I missed that thread.

I have a drill powered transfer pump that we use to extract fluids from transmissions and such that will work for you. They aren't cheap but very handy to have...I bought the MATCO version but later found an "off brand" or private label for less. That, and a cordless drill is all you need.

The one you can buy at Harbor Freight will reach in...if it doesn't just buy more hose and a coupler from any auto parts store...easy.

Apologies on bumping this old thread but I recently went through this same issue on my 2018 V6 1LE. An oil extraction pump is handy to remove the extra 1 qt of oil necessary for track days. I was able to use the EWK 3.5mm ID (inner diameter) and 4.5mm OD (outer diameter) slim hose on Amazon to get down to the oil in the engine. I can't comment on if it will remove all the oil from the engine, but I only need it to remove the overfilled 1 qt. I also have a Holt extraction pump from Harbor Freight where the small hose does not work since it has a 6mm OD which is too large, but this adapter will work with the Holt pump.

Here is the item: https://www.amazon.com/EWK-Super-Cha...ef_=ast_sto_dp

I was worried at first and I just timed my oil changes to do them after a track day. Then I figured out my car consumed about half a quart for a track weekend.
