The current level of drone is tolerable. It is worst at 1500 rpms, but I can handle it.

Should be a good choice but check on afm valves and plan on 2 months eta. Follow my review to see if I can come up with a solution for the NPP blow-by. I think NPP will be worth it on this system if I can fix that issue. I would ask them if the afm valves are the same way. That would concern me. |

From their website: https://www.bbexhaust.com/camaro/, "A full package of headers, x-pipe, and axle-back will give you gains of approximately 35-45 hp on top of your already 505 hp." They seem to be still working the kinks out of this new system and the details. None of the current models offer 505 HP, which I actually brought to their attention already, in an attempt to help them clean up the details on their webpage. So, as far as what to expect for horsepower? Who really knows. They don't seem to have any dyno results and don't even know what the stock hp is. Still, I have mostly positive things to say so far, but there have been downsides that I've tried to document. |

I'm doing it because I can have it done in a few hours, versus waiting 2 more months. Once I have this fixed, I'm going to pass the feedback and results to them, so that they know there's an issue and a way to greatly improve their product.

Between work and school, I didn't get a chance for a stock dyno, but I plan on getting one before and after headers. Despite the not so smooth process, I'm still thinking about getting BBE headers.

The weather dropped down to 50 degrees a couple of weeks ago and we've had a lot of rainy days (we even had snow recently!). Haven't driven the camaro much. I might not be able to do anything with this for awhile now, because I need good weather on a weekend and also need my wife to be free to record some accels and drive by's. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm also bummed that I lost all of the good weather before my system showed up.

What I will say is this: After driving it to work a few times and cruising around a little bit, the tone of this is intoxicating. I really love it. The overall quality seems really good, now that the buzzing is fixed. The valves are super beefy, but the one bad thing is that the butterfly valve is probably 3-4 mm too small in diameter. There's no issue with it operationally, but the gap allows too much blow-by to reduce the sound. If this would have shown up over the summer, I would have had a bit of time to tinker with the butterfly valve and write a review. I think I would still buy this again. I feel like the quality is higher than most others, but the one drawback is that you will need to be creative with the valve. If you're on the fence, I think you should go for it. However, winter is here and maybe you could talk with them about the valve and see if they can come up with a fix before the warm months. |

This is the reason the valves are not quieting the system. But the 2nd pic shows how much beefier the valve system is, compared to stock.

I was having issues finding an exhaust that I wanted that would be easy to install with no welding. Found this thread and saw that generally corvette guys like this company. So I went ahead and ordered a full exhaust from billy boat. Today I finished reading this thread. Now I am worried I hope everything goes well for me, I was hopping to have it installed and tuned by December 15th for a half mile I am going to do.
