New (to me) 2017 SS1LE owner
Hi guys! Been a lurker for a bit and finally picked up a 2017 Black 1LE at the end of last month. I live in FL, however i found the car certified in NY, with 4100 miles, exactly the color i wanted and didn't have to take the first year depreciation hit. Scored the car right around $35,400 before taxes and dealer fees, but overall about $5500 less out the door than a new car. Well worth it to me, and the warranty is virtually the same.
I come from a 2002 BMW M3 Nasa TT4 car which was an absolute track weapon which was used for track duty, had a C6 Z06 for a short while, CTSV, trailblazer SS many nissan/infiniti's but finally landed back in the LS/LT drivetrain as i just don't think it can be beat. This car has been great, and i cannot wait to do some time trial/attacks down here in FL. My wife and I made a small trip out of it, visited Baltimore, DC and of course South of the Border on the way back down. Was a great long weekend and the added expense of traveling was well worth it as my wife had never been to DC before. All my BMW track friends said I need to grow a mullet if I bought a Camaro, so i did. I happily gave up my white sunglasses and BMW stigma for my mullet and Joe Dirt stigma. Enjoy the pics! |

I had a hard time getting them to sell it to me actually. They said they wanted to keep it a local sale, which...i thought was kind of bogus. But the sales guy i worked with over there made it happen, and they played about $2500 dollars worth of ball with me as they were originally asking 37 and change. |
